Yamaha Pro Spencer Deutz Hosts Third Annual Youth and Family Fishing Clinic at Vision Bank in Fargo, ND
Girls learn about live bait

Saturday, April 24th, 2021 marked the third annual National Professional Angler Association (NPAA) Future Angler Foundation (FAF) Youth and Family Fishing Clinic at Vison Bank in Fargo, ND. The event was hosted by Yamaha Pro Angler Spencer Deutz.

Fifteen future anglers were greeted inside Vision Bank and given a gold dollar coin, doughnuts, and refreshments courtesy of Vision Bank. After they settled in, Deutz provided an interactive seminar where the participants learned fish identification, water safety, the prime places to fish depending on the season, selective harvest, and how to stop the spread of aquatic nuisance species.

Following the seminar, the future anglers headed outside where they split up into four groups. The groups rotated through stations where they learned different casting techniques to catch Backyard Bass. They also had the chance to view minnows through an underwater camera, learned how to tie different fishing knots and get a walk-through of Deutz’s 2021 Ranger620PRO powered by a Yamaha F300XCA.
