NPAA MEMBERS ASSIST WITH IOWA’S LARGEST CHARITY-SPONSORED FISHEREE

On the weekend of August 1st and 2nd, over 1,300 anglers and volunteers participated in the Boys &
Girls Clubs of Cedar Rapids 13th Annual Fish-O-Rama event at Robins Lake in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Fish-O-Rama is one of Iowa’s largest charitable fisherees and provides direct funding to the
ongoing programs for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cedar Rapids reaching over 300 local youth annually.The Dr is in

NPAA members, Do-It Molds pro Steve Miller (#581) and Ranger-Evinrude/Walleye Wisdom pro Gary
Speicher (#128) provided their expertise with clinics, question and answer help and then presided
over the “Kids Casting Contest” with over 70 youthful participants. With Walleye Wisdom and Do-It
Molds as an event sponsors, Miller returned on day 2 of the festivities to act as the “Fish Doctor”
to assist all participants with tackle problems and fishing issues. The “doctor” was definitely in
the house as he operated on a steady stream of broken and neglected tackle throughout the day.NPAA members construct the casting course
