FAF – ITO partnership; Turning the Tide of Youth Angling in America

Forestville, WI:

To help turn the tide of youth angling participation, the Future Angler Foundation has partnered with the Into the Outdoors Education Network to inspire millions of new anglers across the country. Using the nation’s only 15-time Emmy-winning syndicated outdoor youth education television series with multiple national online networks plus classroom films with fishing lesson activities, this expanded Gettin’ Families Fishin’ program will offer audiences angling education and pathways to discover the fun and rewards of fishing.

With new funding from the Multistate Conservation Grant Program, this educational series is expected to impact over 12 million people with four half-hour television programs and 16 classroom family fishing videos. This impact will be compounded, as all of the angling media programs will be distributed to every state and federal agency in the nation, plus PBS, free of charge using dedicated server technology.
